A Fun Funeral
Have you ever been to a funeral that you walked away from feeling wonderful? I went to one yesterday that really touched my heart and put a smile on my face. The grandmother of a church member passed away last Sunday and I had the honor of helping to carry the casket from the hearss to the grave. Two Baptist ministers preached the funeral that was filled with more laughs than tears. The pastors and family members shared funny stories of their beloved mother, wife and grandmother. What a testimony! Instead of anguish and sobbing there were smiles and testimonies of how she had touched their lives. What a joy it is for an old saint to pass on to Glory while her earthly family below is rejoicing!
